Audio Notes ("we", "us") provides a service that turns audio (such as YouTube videos and podcasts) into written transcripts and AI-generated summaries. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Content you submit — links you paste, the resulting audio, transcripts, and summaries.
• Usage data — which features you use and when, so we can measure and improve the product.
• Billing information — if you subscribe, payment is handled directly by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

Third parties we use

Processing your audio and sending email necessarily involves a small number of service providers:

• Microsoft Azure (Speech and Blob Storage) — transcribes audio and stores files.
• OpenAI — generates the AI summary, key takeaways, and action items from your transcript.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments.
• SendGrid — sends account and notification emails.

We don't sell your data to anyone.

Your choices

You can delete individual jobs from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account entirely, or to request a copy of your data, contact us at admin@audionotes.co.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
